Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Akagera National Park

Have an airport pick up fromKigali international airport by an experienced, dedicated tour guide. Have a short briefing about the entire trip and proceed with your journey to the park..

Akagera national park is located in the north east region of Rwanda. It is the only savannah park in this country, favorable for wildlife viewing. Arrive in time for lunch at the park, relax and chill at the checked in lodge as you wait for dinner and an overnight.

Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise

Wake up early for a morning game drive in the park where you will a number gorilla species such as the leopards, lions, Elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes and many more.
After have lunch and proceed for an evening boat cruise on Lake Ihema for more wildlife viewing and beautiful scenic view. Later on retire back to the lodge for delicious dinner and a sleepover.

Day 3: Depart to the airport

After an early morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and have a road transfer to Kigali for a short city tour before departure. You will visit the national genocide museum in Gisoziand Caplaki craft village in the heart of Kigali to purchase beautiful sovereigns.
After you will be transfer to Kigali international airport for departure to your next destination.
