This is a lifetime adventure; an opportunity to encounter primates and wildlife games in just a single adventure and 5 days’ safari. There is a lot hidden in this offer that we may not express, talk of sighting lions in the tree branches, unique mountain gorillas, birds, fascinating landscape, and African game and hospitality among others.

You will track the gorillas in Bwindi impenetrable national park, and enjoy a game drive at the famous queen Elizabeth national park. On a good day, you should also open your heart to four of Africa's Big5 namely lions, leopards, buffaloes and elephants. The trip starts and ends at Entebbe with so much to encounter and uncover.

Detailed safari

Day 1: Pick up transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park


Our expert driver-guide will meet you at the agreed point, welcome you for this unforgettable adventure, and respond to a few concerns, before hitting the road for a 7-8 hours’ scenic drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park, a true African jungle; occupied by the endangered mountain gorillas and numerous rare bird species among others.

This drive leaves you amazed by the flourishing landscape, scattered homesteads in the countryside and buzzing streets. Lunch will be enroute, before arriving at the lodge late in the evening for refreshment, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and an optional Batwa encounter


After enjoying a tasty breakfast meal, you will head to the sector headquarters very early in the morning for registration and briefing, from which the park rangers elaborate on the trekking rules and regulations and allocate members to the gorilla family of their choice; an adventure which can last for approximately 1-6 hours, with the rangers on the lead. Monitoring all the corners right from where the apes were last seen.

This hike also comes with the benefit of encountering several other mammals, primates, birds, reptiles, and tree species found in this jungle. Upon locating the creatures, you will use one extra hour to watch and take photos of the silverbacks, mothers' breastfeeding, and the young stars playing.

Thereafter, you will depart the lodge for lunch and then decide to either spend the evening relaxing at the lodge or visit the Batwa pygmies; former hunters and gatherers in Bwindi forest. They will take you through thrilling cultural dances, village walk, songs and stories before the call for dinner and a nap comes in.

Day 3: Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth national park via the Ishasha sector


Today, you will wake up to a mouth-watering breakfast meal, followed by a drive to Queen Elizabeth national park; home to 4 of Africa's Big5, via its Ishasha sector. You will have a rewarding 2-3 game drive around the ishasha sector, tracking the tree-climbing lions, which you might be lucky to find resting on the tree branches or roaming their territory.

Thereafter, lunch follows before proceeding to your lodge for refreshment followed by dinner and peaceful sleep.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth national park; Game drive and boat cruise


After breakfast, you will spend the first 3-4 hours of your day in a game drive around the kasenyi region, where you expect to encounter different mammals parading for you namely buffaloes, elephants, oribis, Uganda Kobs, warthogs, giraffes, zebras and waterbucks among others, lions and leopards on a lucky day, and not ignoring the bird such as the crested cranes, primates such as the monkeys, and reptiles among others.

One other unique attraction to look out for in this case is the breathtaking landscape. After the game drive, you will have a picnic lunch, followed by a 2-3 hours’ boat cruise in the rewarding Kazinga channel that enables you to watch the hippos, crocodiles, and other occupants such as elephants, kingfisher, and many more.

Day 5: Departure


Today, you will check out of the lodge after breakfast and then have a rewarding 5-6 hours’ drive to the airport for a flight to the next destination. This comes with an amazing stopover at the equator for some experiments, photography and lunch, followed by dinner and a nap.
