Gift your five senses with the sound and sights of several birds and the endangered mountain Gorillas in Uganda; the pearl of Africa, adored with Beauty and wildlife biodiversity. Nothing is unrevealed in these 6 days adventure that takes you to the heart of Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park-home to the world's most sought after mountain Gorillas, and the Mabamba swamp; the birder's paradise, at the shores of Lake Victoria.


You will engage in birding, gorilla trekking, a cultural encounter with the Batwa pygmies, and photography at the equator. We have put together classic accommodation, very comfortable transport, and an experienced driver-guide who will make your vacation worth a memory.


Day one: Pickup

Upon landing at Entebbe international airport, you will meet our expert driver/guide who will brief you about the different aspects of the trip, such as the information about the schedule, time for activities, and responding to most of the questions from you. You will have an optional city tour if time allows, before proceeding to the lodge for dinner and a nap.


Day Two: Mabamba swamp birding escapade

You will start your day with a great taste of African coffee, followed by an exit to Mabamba swamp, a rewarding spot for birding and home to the sought after shoebill stock, migrant birds, and those endemic to the area.


The whole day will be spent exploring the area, while in a boat, sailing on the second-largest freshwater lake in the world. Along the shoreline and the papyrus grass, expect an encounter with vast array of bird species, notably; the African pygmy goose, the jacanas, and the pied kingfisher among others. You will have a lunch break, followed by a return to Kampala at your hotel for dinner and a nap.


Day Three: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable national park

The first thing today is greeting your intestines with a yummy cup of coffee, after which you will hit the road on a 9 hours’ epic drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park; home to the highest concentration of the sought after Mountain Gorillas.
On the drive, you will have an en-route stopover for lunch, whereas the continuing journey offers amazing views of the captivating landscape, lunch evergreen vegetation, and magnificent infrastructure among others. You will arrive at the lodge late in the evening for dinner and overnight.


Day Four: Gorilla trekking

Early in the morning, you will reward your intestines with a heavy breakfast. With your tracking items, head for a pre-trekking briefing at the park headquarters. The briefing is done by the expert park rangers who will explain the dos and don'ts of Gorilla trekking, Allocate members to the Gorilla families of their Choice. Each family has a unique behavior, and up to 8 people can track it at a time. Gorillas share with humans over 95% DNA and are reported to have similar behaviors. Depending on how far they have moved, the search can last for approximately 8 hours, through the thick bushes that host a variety of other primates, birds, and forest mammals.


Upon locating the creatures, a maximum of one hour is yours to take photos and uncover the life of these Apes, before returning to the lodge for lunch, followed by a free afternoon, dinner, and a nap.


Day five: Morning Birding and the Batwa pygmy encounter

After a peaceful nap, you will get to the tea table for a lovely breakfast meal, followed by a rewarding 4-5 hour guided birding experience. In these hours, our experienced birding guide will help you identify the different birds in the Jungle, and their unique characteristics such as sound, color, and feeding.


After the search, you return to the lodge for lunch, and then an evening cultural encounter with the Batwa pygmies; one of the oldest cultures in the world, with the shortest people who lived as gatherers and wondrous in the lush Bwindi and Mgahinga Jungle. After the golden interaction, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.


Day 6: Departure

After enjoying relaxed early morning breakfast, you will depart the lodge for Entebbe or Kampala. However, your Lunch will be at the Equator, where you will take photos, and watch the demonstration at the equator Line
