Detailed itinerary of the 3 days Queen Elizabeth National Park tour

Day 1: Head to Queen Elizabeth National Park from Kampala/Entebbe

Have a hefty breakfast and later, be prepared for pick up by your tour leader from your
hotel/place of residence in Kampala. Start your Uganda safari to Queen Elizabeth National
Park via Mbarara-Bushenyi route, about 6 hours’ drive. A stop visit will be made at Equator
crossing for you to take photos, relax then lunch break in Igongo Cultural Centre.
Proceed to Western Uganda to Queen Elizabeth National Park in Kasese while enjoying the
sceneries, tea plantations and a lot more. Have a fun-filled evening on tour along Lake
Katwe, Salt mining areas then get back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise

Get the best of your leisurely breakfast and after, begin your sunrise game drive in 4x4 Land
Cruiser/Safari Van with pop-up rooftop. The 2-3-hour game drive takes you through Kasenyi
Plains to enjoy excellent view of buffaloes, elephants, lions, warthogs, antelopes, birds and a

You will explore more about behaviors of chimpanzees, takes their photos and also sight
variety of other primates and birds.

Retreat from your primate walk to have lunch then check out ready to drive back to
Kampala. Along the way, have a stop visit at the Equator crossing then later at Mpambire
